Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

We arrived on a sunday evening around 8pm and were seated very quickly but there wasn't very many people there. Justin was our waiter and was courteous. we order italian nachos and a salad which came out very quickly and tasted great. she also had an italian soda and said it was a very good one. For our entrees we ordered chicken fettucine with pesto sauce and I had baked torteline with meat sauce. both of the entres were great tasting but we waited close to 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Overall, it was a good experience. I wouldn't say that we will go back though with S&Bs Burger Joint right across the street.

I love me some Carino's! From the bread and balsamic and oil (with the delicious little morsels of garlic) to their Caesar salad (I'm pretty sure it's my fav ever) and their yummy chicken Parmesan paninis, you can't go wrong. Their lunch menu is cheap and filling and you won't be disappointed with their potato soup and salad for a quick lunch :)

Fresh bread and good food. Not sure how authentic the Italian food is but I always go home on a full stomach. The moment you enter the restaurant the aroma is amazing in this place. I get the diavolo pasta and the spiciness is prefect. Add shrimp and it's a done deal. The wine selection is pretty decent for this place as well.

Terrible! The service and food were terrible. I have been here several times now, not my choice, and have never had a good meal. If the food wasn't bad enough the service will run you away! The quality and the temperature of the food awful. I have had better frozen dinners. Some of the food came out cold! It was sent back and when it came back it was still cold! I guess the microwave wasn't working! Overall grade an "F". I hope I never gave to go there again.

Great service every time! The food comes out hot and doesn't take too long, and it's alright, but just seems like a lot of it comes from a frozen package.
(3)Heather R.
I don't care for their food. It lacks flavor and my kids couldn't even eat their pizza.
(2)Mike J.
Went on a Sunday evening, Food was delicious and service was great! Amazing calamari and bow tie pasta. They even labeled and dated our leftovers to take home. Can't wait to go again.
(5)Okrazerback M.
I had to give a lower score because the menue had changed and the food isn't as good as it once was. I liked choosing the hotter items during cold season but most of those are not on the menue any more. The place is nice, the noise level is high but not too high. The staff is good. I just wish the food was as good as it used to be.

Family servings are a great meal for 3-5 with bread (not fresh) and salad. However, the adult cheese pizza that I ordered is best described as a blood clot on a Ritz. Perhaps there was a dusting or mere whisper of cheese.
(2)Brandy W.
Fast seating, even on Sunday afternoon. Parking can be a challenge due to sharing a lot with a large church. The bread is delicious. The calamari was incredible. If you have stomach troubles, do not try the red sauce. The Caeser salad is delicious and has a very tangy sauce. Try the family size portions to stretch your food budget. We will be back.

I love the food here! It's considered "country Italian" and it a nice change from the typical Italian menu. The menu is huge! I like to start off with the Italian nachos as an appetizer. They're pretty much amazing! Last time I went, I tried the cheese tortalini (as recommended by our server) and it was very good! You get as much bread and salad as you can eat and you're guaranteed to leave STUFFED (if you're not careful!) Great place for everyone to try!

I was quite disappointed with this location. The waitress never once smiled at us. It seemed as though we inconvenienced her. The bread has gotten smaller. My italian nachos were to greasy and didn't have enough alfredo sauce. I have always enjoyed the one over on memorial rd but this one was a bit disappointing.
(2)Jennifer B.
No silverware. We were eating like barbarians in the beginning. They brought salads but still had no silverware. Made up for it in the food. Thank you for honoring the special for tonight.

I enjoyed my meal thoroughly great times we're had with family, but unfortunately the customer service was terrible. When we first got there the guy that was supposed to be walking us to the table walked off without us. Then when we figured out and caught up with him he still didn't say a word as he set our table. Our waitress was nice, but soft spoken and didn't cater to our needs as well as she needed to. We finally ordered and got our food. Everyone who brought our food just walked away. We had to ask someone to bring us extra drinks and Parmesan cheese, mind you I had never had to ask someone for drinks and cheese before. As stated before the food was excellent, our calamari was cooked perfectly, the soup was as good as ever, and I tried something new. Let me tell you I was not disappointed at all. The baked cheese tortellini is a must have. Time went by everyone needed drinks and our waitress was no where to be found. Finally she came back and asked if we were ready for deserts and the ticket. I got the lemon creme cake, which was divine, and when she came back after running our card she handed us our tab thing and walked away without another word. My father had to go to the bar to get To-Go drinks, since everyone's cups were empty. On our way out the door no one told us to have a good night or anything. This trip reminds me of a saying I'm quite fond of: you're too pretty to be that ugly. (Quote made by my aunt Katrina) By saying this I simply mean great look, food and quality, but horrible service. Which really sucks, because I love Carino's.
